We
all desire to leave the world a better place, so at Karinya Counselling Centres,
we have created the “Partners For Life” Bequest Fund, to recognise that in
an increasingly affluent society, many people are questioning how they can make
a difference. Your kind gift will create a lasting legacy that will be a tribute
to your memory.
With
Karinya, your gift will benefit people in your community for generations to
come. These are societies most vulnerable members, individuals and families who
are struggling with painful and difficult issues and circumstances that are
holding them back from enjoying life to its fullest. All bequests are invested
in the “Partners for Life” Bequest Fund, the interest income used for
capital works and support projects.
Please
let us know if you have named, or intend to name Karinya in your will. We would
welcome the opportunity to show our appreciation through adding your name to our
“Partners for Life” register, and keeping you informed on exciting
developments. However, if you prefer to keep your intentions confidential, you
can count on us to honour your privacy.
To
ensure that your accumulated assets are distributed according to your
wishes, Karinya recommends you enlist the professional assistance of a trustee
or solicitor. If you would like to discuss your plans with Karinya, please

Otherwise,
by simply adding a few words to your Will, you can make a bequest, which may
alter the lives of so many people who are struggling. You will then join Karinya
in our “Partner for Life” program, assisting us to continue our aim to be an
expression of God’s love and care within the community.

– you can make a difference, and any donation will be appreciated.
Bequests
of property are now exempt from capital gains tax, thus maximising the
appreciated value of these gifts for tax deduction purposes.
An
example of the standard wording of a bequest is:
