All counselling is by appointment. Appointments can be made Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 10:00am and 2:00pm, and on Wednesday between 10:00am and 5:00pm. Evening appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Counselling sessions are approximately 50 minutes in length.
Fee Structures
Karinya attracts little government funding, but as a not for profit organisation we keep our fees as low as possible.

Our student clinic offers almost qualified, well supervised gifted students at $20.00 / hour or lower in cases of need for August and September
Generally, concession fees are $20.00 lower than the corresponding full fee for those holding a government concession card. Consideration may be given to those demonstrating financial hardship.
Cancellation of Appointments
Karinya requires at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment; otherwise a cancellation fee will need to be applied to cover costs.
Waiting Lists
Appointments can usually be made within 24 hours although it may take a little longer if a specific counsellor or psychologist is requested.
